Why do I feel Anna only appears as a plot device or eye candy in recent issues? Whereas Nightgale has character development and chemistry but gets thrown to the side.

I really don’t give a fuck about Anna, that was such a bad choice to have her be the king’s woman, author should have at least give her more screen time and character building for fans to appreciate her, instead, we attached a lot more to Nightingale instead cuz her story is good and her action makes the character very likable, her struggles, her habits, we get to know things about her, while Anna is like a background character as well as a Mary Sue that we get to see once in a while, we know she do things but we rarely see her, so how are we supposed to be like “yay anna best girl!” ? Who even gives a fuck about her except for maybe a few sociopaths who don’t even understand human interaction ?!
