Well, we aren’t going to see the MC vs the Heavenly Demon face-off in a battle for quite a while. I mean, do you want the story so good to just poof and end because he beat the final boss?

I don’t think the novel even got to that point. I kind of paused reading it at the time that the MC helped found the Southern Edge sect and was getting to the point of founding the Mount Hua sect. No fight with the Heavenly Demon yet at that point.
