A brief description of the manhwa Surviving as a Genius on Borrowed Time:
Jung Yeonshin was born with a short fate: being unable to live past the age of twenty. Although everyone in his family looked down on him, his skills were remarkable enough for him to create his own martial arts. One day, Yeonshin realized that he doesn’t have much time left to live… This is where Jung Yeonshin, a terminally-ill genius, begins his desperate struggle to survive!

This is good definitely recommended,it’s a solid 9/10 (on mark chap31)
Would recommend if you like murim stories. Protagonist is a quiet kid, but effective in his actions, makes quick decisions, and has a little bit of a silly “lack of self-awareness towards his greatness” about him.
Other characters are just there to support him as he slashes things. It could get old, but his progress is delicious, and the art style is good, and it goes at a fast pace.
Bonus: No regression, no reincarnation, no secret knowledge. Just a “normal” genius who does not have a lot of time to live.
Bonus bonus: elves?

So far so good; would recommend reading this one!! (chapter 22 out of 22 available chapters)

For this year I believe easily take the number 1 spot. I can only rate 5/5 but is peak 6/5. gonna let it marinate for a bit.
Definitely a top 10 ongoing manhwa, even though it’s only been 21 chapters (as of now). I can 100% say it’s going to be at least on par if not better than nano machine, the heavenly demon chronicles, etc. I reccomend you read it, 10/10 for me.
20 chapters and i can say this manhwa is a gem.
Ok. When I see murim manhwa, I just think here we go again… it’s gonna be one fight after another for no real reason… the fights will be drawn out and prolonged, some times in non-sensical ways. And there will be little to no story.
But this on is like
also the way the writers do the cliffhangers is
Holy crap it’s been a while since I got so hyped by a manhwa.. definitely 10/10 and would recommend anyone to read it.
bow that wait begins for next chapter
Honestly, this is peak

First time reading manhwa where they show how a kid died from an enemy. This is bloody sad,10/10

honestly this is so refreshing to read and I don’t even know why. I cant wait to see where it goes in the future
bro is NOT from wudang 😭🙏🏻

ultra potential 9/19

It is both a good and bad thing that I managed to find this at it’s beginning. Bad because now I have to wait for every new release. Good because I have something to look forward to!
I read to chapter 13 but it’s not for me so I’m dropping it.
It doesn’t do anything terrible, it has good art and good fighting but I’m bored.
The MC is one of the most boring MCs I’ve ever seen. He’s a genius with no personality. He doesn’t react to anything, he’s just emotionless and has no passion or interesting goal. He doesn’t struggle, because he understands and improves everything at a glance. And his goal is to cure his illness (that will kill him eventually but doesn’t hinder him in any way whatsoever), which means he has to join the main sect in murim, which they instantly let him into because he’s a genius. What is the MC like? What does he like? What does he care about? Couldn’t tell you.
You don’t even get to enjoy him impressing everyone because it’s done so often and effortlessly.
