The author got to be kidding me, this has to be ragebait, what else do you think kids will do except crying and leaving them in a maze ???? Just how stupid one has to be for that and even if the ml was regressed having that many teeth author didn’t even bother to use basic biology

This is so meh. I’m still reluctant to completely write it off, but it’s basically a lost cause at this point.
It’s just too generic.
The use of the mystic number 7 doesn’t help.

New reader here . . . . . sometimes I feel like these books are like a MadLib of literary elements all mixed into a plot pot ….. which I’m totally ok with as long as the story is solid and the pacing is good! Fingers crossed for another good read!
I am working man and a father. I don’t have as much time or more importantly energy to read as much as I used to. This might be my third time reading Iron Blooded but it is one of my favorites. If you come across this comment? Let me assure you, this story is worth your time.
