imagine you are reading this and you get to the academy arc and basically you just transform to the Tom Pearl and just start eating your own poo thats kind of what you are doing its a good analogy but like the poo kinda got really bad kinda dry but then the academy arc ended so in the analogy you experimenting with different food to make the poo you are eating tasty yummers, that’s basically this manhwa the arcs after this are pretty good you know its like the equivalent to eating pine apple to make your nuh taste nice, its still nut but it tastes nice, you get it? anyways england lost, the manhwa is pretty good tho like a crisp, but also wet 7.4 out of 10 i hope this review is helpful or made you laugh bye bye

Kind of stopped liking ts after the big spider/tribe arc. It was interesting and showed character development and his relations w the tribe go up. He also got stronger. Now during the academy arc it was just boring? and he waa hiding his strength for pretty much no reason.

Anyways I still believe it is a good enough story for most people to enjoy. (Not at the “peak” level) as some people said it was

Ngl these bots who hate the academy arc are high, imo the academy arc is quite good except for the dogshit plot. Maybe it’s just me who normally likes academy arcs (peak arcs like inf mage or smthing else)

This story is really good, the first arc and barb arc build what I’d call part 1 of the story which goes from chapter 1-74 which is the best part so far.
Part 2 of the story (ch. 75-155) is the academy which is really good on paper with every arc having their own proper set up and build up, the characters getting their necessary build up, backstories and character arcs, the plot twists being foreshadowed etc. but in practice there’s so much that happens in the part without a major shift in the overarching plot or something to really tie the arcs together that it takes way too long to get to where we’re at now which kinda makes it feel like a chore to read

its good, peaked at start, then it became 8/10 in the barb arc and after that the school arc is probably 6,5/10, mc acts like a weakling for far too long and it starts to get boring, also the harem is just meh, i would rather just 1 girl be interested him or at max 2, but he has like 5 girls and everybody else is also oogling at his looks

This peaked at the Ballak/Spider arc. Afterwards it was a downwards spiral into long drawn out tropes. I went ahead and read the LN since the school arc was dragging really badly after folks were saying it got better. it did not in fact get better, it got even more drawn out, more boring and more of the same:

new setting
someone thinks they are a hotshot
MC needs to prove himself
MC becomes more OP

Repeat ad nauseam.
The setup for the end doesn’t make sense.
The ending isn’t even remotely satisfying and the girls suck beyond parody.
And the worst is the MC himself. He does not grow past his stoic image, he doesn’t engage with the love interests, he is basically a senseless robot.

This manhwa was promising but gradually declines after chapter 70 or so. I think most readers will eventually hit a wall and drop it, so why bother starting it in the first place? You are only going to be upset by what could have been. However, the art is excellent.
