It would make sense to explain why people should keep away, unless those people deserve to die for the plot to advance.
Or perhaps strategically activate the monster at a time of his own choosing, unless Vikir prefers the thrill of surprises.

Makes you wonder, how have they survived this long if they’re this dumb and unlikeable. Also, the MC definitely isn’t explaining to them why it’s dangerous to cause he wants them to die and honestly, I don’t blame him.
Why is almost every single side character or npc in this story so unbelievably unlikeable? I’m starting to think that those heroes vikir keeps talking about were only heroes because they didn’t treat everyone around them like crap
Did ANY of them ever play even one Final Fantasy game? That’s a Malboro with Bad Breath that gives every debuff you can get in the game. I have to wonder if the monster was inspired by cigarettes.
This story feel like an inverse Nano machine, Nano got worse after Academy, but this one became actually annoying to read after reaching Academy.
