Le rouge et le noir in French means the red and the black in English.

okay so not a diss towards the writer but “le rouge et le noir” quite literally translates to “the red and the black” so its just called the red and the black mountain, not complaining tho peak writing tbh

That’s not how that sword rig works. The sword goes in a scabbard and the scabbard goes in the baldric. It lets you keep the sword sheathed, but also set it said without taking off the carrying equipment.
Rigged like they have it you’re going to stab yourself, a a minimum.
