tbh idk how none of the soldiers have defected to mc’s kingdom…sure treason punishment is bad, but would you rather have a chance at a prosperous life in a well run kingdom with the possibility of dying to get there or live a terrible life under a terribly run country where you will most likely die fighting in a stupid power struggle… and what are they even fighting for…the Dutchy and the demon territory are on opposite sides of the continent and the lands are polluted anyways so there aint many resources to be gained and people are dying all the time due to the fighting and pollution so it aint for fore living space
Since she apparently only recently took over the duchy then she inherited it that way, and Odin probably had a hand in how poorly it has been run. Plus if she is right about how desperate the situation is for her country then high risk/high reward probably justified.
I would much rather odin joins as an advisor to tadashi than this bratty queen to join. Seems odin has a head on his shoulders and is more honorable
