Assuming MC remains mortal and dies or old age, or equivalent, and that none of MCs great many children don’t inherit his ability to summon the gods, those gods only have a relatively few years left to enjoy being able to party on earth before getting locked back in heaven, presumably forever. Or for a very long time anyway

Nit pick time, kensai is not like a rural southern US accent, its closer to a mix if mid west, Canadian and generic southern US accents.You should only double down on the US southern slang, when it fits the theme of the character(ie cowboy/southern US themes).
