There’s no way they should have actually followed through with this like that.
If someone forces you to take a drug that binds you to a dark god, ontop of the normal blackmail or dangled rewards, then they obviously cant be trusted to give you what you want if you actually do what they say.
They’re lucky they’re in suck a kind hearted series, their entire tribe a unlikely to wiped out as bunishment for this
