I can’t even tell what the MC’s conviction was supposed to be…The last few chapters were incomprehensible.
MC saw gramps slaughter elves after they explicitly ran amock like bandits, MC sae gramps being pissy and ruining an entire village. MC yells at gramps, MC says “Well I will walk MY PATH!”
….What…? What path, doing what?

This series is getting great, with the only caveat being the absolutely naive and “korean optimism” mc. Dude gets first hand experience of how these elves think/treat humans. Granted perhaps not all of them think this way, but then he visits the village where he literally acknowledges that they kill/plunder from others, almost 100% only humans, finds literally bloodstained human gear, and yet still has the bs “respect i can give them”. If it were other humans maybe i could understand it, but it is a foreign race that kills, uses, and despises humans and this mc still “ill go my own way/make my own path”. I totally get wanting to get the whole story before you settle on a mindset, but even if “some being put them here against their will” it in no way excuses them stealing from and killing humans for need/pleasure. If this mc keeps going down this line itll be such a injustice to this whole work as the art/powers/backstory/other characters/psych levels/etc. is all looking good.
they are just hunters and gatherers respect their culture! 
There’s a reason Gramps doesn’t spare them. Learn the whole truth from him and dont just see the world through rose tinted glasses man TT

so, basically elves are humanoid monsters, summoned from another world. they dont belong to that world, and instead of trying to survive with the original inhabitants, they kill them, because theyre upset they were summoned there. i wonder if the elves killed gramps loved ones, or did they pretend to help them, but betrayed the hero group, and some of his friends died
