I really can’t tell if that woman was putting on an act the entire time just to absorb his disciples’ good luck, or if her mind was corrupted and taken over. It wasn’t very clear, honestly.

Please be serious. The author is just passing time the story isn’t going well. He is just cultivating on mountain and doing comedy. It was soo good at first. But the new chapters feel so boring. Please let him go outside and explore

I understand the story centers on his reclusive, hermit-like existence. Still, I think the narrative would benefit from a faster pace or the introduction of a new antagonist. Ultimately, I’m excited to see him step out of his mountain home and ascend; exploring the higher realm would make for an intriguing development.
That new demon queen looks hot as hell, but it does make me wonder what’s happening with that other really hot ascended demon who’s attracted to MC. She returned to the higher plane and we haven’t seen or heard from her in ages, possibly literal ages given the time skips are multiple decades at the shortest and typically multiple centuries.
