Came for the premise, hooked by the mems, stayed for the cultivation. I don’t see what others can’t grasp about SECRETLY CULTIVATE FOR A THOUSAND YEARS. Complaints of cowardice are only valid in year 1001.
This is some good shit, highly recommend! The best manhwa I’ve read and I’m always left wanting for more.
Some seriously good comedy and the Murim is actually well done and easier to understand than in all other stories of the genre.
Solid 9/10, best manhwa out there.

The best Manhua i’ve read so far tbh.
The art is great,( like really- the rendering is chef kiss, + the artist also draws a lot of chibi art and that just makes it even better hahah)
The translation is really good considering this is a Manhua, and the story well it felt generic but they somehow made it different, so it’s actually kinda original?
Of course even tho its good there are still some things that could of been done better. There are some plot holes there and here and be aware that there are a lotttttttt of time skips. Also in the beginning the Mc is kinda you know annoying?
But overall this is good. Kinda repetitive at some point, but gets better soo- its okayish. Definitely a good read would recommend! Give it a 5 stars, even tho i think it should be more of a 4.5/5 or something.

It’s good and i like the comedy but the MC is somewhat OP but coward smart but witless. His disciple got captured for so many years and tortured but he didn’t do anything about it he is too scared to even think of saving his own disciple. It’s just that disappointment.

This is genuinely one of the greatest manga/novels I’ve read but the manga updates too slow. I mean isn’t the manga supposed to sum of 4-5 chapters of the novel into one? This story is only at the part where he’s at the body integration realm, like seriously? KINDA SPOILER, LIKE MAYBE, A LITTLE BIT Won’t HURT IF U READ, WARNING YOU NOW, I mean he hasn’t even entered the god realm and accepted all those gods as disciples yet. OMG SO MUCH SPOILER FROM NOW ON LIKE AT LEAST A 100-400 MANGA CHAPTERS OF SPOILERS. Seriously the novel is like already done and he has sons, grandsons, daughters, granddaughters, and like 6 wives. I mean some of which have already lived multiple lives. In this he doesn’t even have his first son and hasn’t even entered the false god realm. So, like I just wanted to tell you that I recommend switching to the light novel because this has only updated like 40 chapters a year. I mean martial god asura updated so much faster than this.
Light novel is going strong. You might think from the title that the manhua is a satire, but no. I respect the MC for staying out of trouble, but it also means that the only plot is mostly experienced vicariously through secondary characters. This is probably a manhua for more experienced readers. Knowledge of Xianxia tropes will help you fill in the sketchy secondary character arc.
