2) MC actually relies heavily on a lot of his pre-reincarnation Earth knowledge. By telling Chu Shiren that, he is connecting the dots between the Heart Sutra, the Diamond Cutter (vajra cutter) sutra, and the original philosophy expounded upon by the real person Shakyamuni buddha and his disciples. In other words, stripping away all the religion/organization/ties to the buddhist sect, and thereby reminding the World-Honoured One/Chu Shiren/Supreme Buddha of what buddhahood truly is.
3) This isn’t new. It’s a continuation of the first step on enlightenment for Chu Shiren when he awakened dozens of chapters ago…
