I like the protagonist, but I can’t stand the current story line. It has every shounen trope:
– immature kids put in charge of adult responsibilities.
– kids who were put in the care and trust of adults are put in deadly danger by said adults
– some generic “bad guys” organisation who wants to destroy the world
– kids killing people and not thinking twice about it. Even if said people are bad guys
The only trope missing is “the power of friendship”. I’m pretty annoyed. I thought this would be more of a slice of life manga. Not a “a bunch of 14 years old kids must save the world” type of manga, which I’m sick of.
