I would like to say one thing. Unless you are cursed, and horribly so like the mc of youngest son of a sword master. Being under an institution and working your hardest to achieve a goal and FAIL to the point of being below average and moving down a year. Then you are either a child in an adult body (didnt mature properly) have a disorder ( which i am not mocking btw) because an institution sets standards to an average. So either this is the beta mc the authors like so much and want to wuss out on or the author has not read enough or comprehend that there’s an average you cant cover up as a simple plot effect in whatever universe. Even the jungle abides by the rule of the average
