It never ceases to amaze me how split the reviews are for series. And I know people have different tastes and opinions, but it’s always one person writing and detailed explanation on why it sucks, and 2 or 3 people saying “it’s good”

I only ever trust those eaters that have their long list and an actual ranking system.

This is kinda.. good? I don’t know why the rating is so low (3.3 when I was writing this comment). The story is OK, the balance between comedy and drama is good (at least for me). The protagonist seems lighthearted though he has serious backstory and motivation. Overall the first 4 chapters were a fun ride.

This manga is not made for older people. It is made for young teens.

The story is basically a single level plot with no side issues… and the authors miss many opportunities to create depth and meanings.

That depth and meanings, will never occur because the story IS single level.

There is also way too much signaling into the next chapter. Let the reader be surprised occasionally… increases suspense. Or charm. Surprises can be dark events, can also be light events too.

But we won’t see that either. We just get random signaling.

Forced relationships, classic saves the damsel in distress cliche with nothing new. OP protagonist, everything gets handed to him.
Yeah I’m gonna pass.

Btw It’s just me or princesses and noble girls in fantasy worlds have the WORST security details ever ? , Every single one of them is always in danger and needs rescuing from OP protagonist, even thought by all common sense they should never had been in a dangerous position from the beginning, and should have way more than enough bodyguards escorting them to at least, leave that place safely …
