Like many stories of impaired pride, this one begins with the young wizard Asley being cruelly ridiculed due to his failures while studying at the Magic Academy. Leaving magic in the past, he devotes his life to alchemy. And his perseverance was rewarded.
And while the acquisition of the elixir of immortality was the result of chance, but still it gave him the opportunity to live forever, improving in science and magic.
Centuries and millennia have flown in research. Having achieved power, after 5000 years, Asli was ready for sophisticated revenge, but later realized that there was no one to take revenge: everyone who humiliated and mocked him for a long time in the grave.
Then the immortal wizard decides to hit the road in order to reacquaint himself with a world that he has not been interested in during these years. A faithful friend of Pochi goes with him. Will this journey be easy and what surprises will it present to the proud recluse and his comrade?
This is incredibly boring. I made it to the second chapter.

Hate me for having my own opinion, but I found it to be disappointing. The story simply is not that interesting and the events are forced and pieced up together as it goes without real aim for the story.
It’s uninspired with little point, wouldn’t recommend. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the time.
MC is a little dense, but that’ll happen after living as a hermit for 5,000 years – at least the writer gave him a personality. The banter between him and his familiar is unique and endearing. The plot builds slowly as the cast of characters gets developed. There are definitely hiccups, but compared to all the drivel currently out there I’ve been enjoying this

no matter how much time has passed and the mc always acts like a kid while being over 120 years old yet those around him age and mature the mc has no other progression besides strength.
