Read the LN but that was a while ago so now I can’t actually remember this part of the story.
I recommend you read the LN to be honest – especially the arc where Tweight and Mize run off together, its really interesting

Yes… the way to ‘break down barriers’ and get everyone working together, is to seperate them by creating a second tier course and even dress them up in a different uniform, just to make sure that they realise they are different from those in the top tier course… But lets pretend that the nobles and commoners will all get over their differences and play nice together…. I strongly suspect that the author ‘borrowed’ on ‘The Irregular at Magic High School’ for the inspiration for the school part of his storyline…
