Shangri-La Frontier - Chapter 249
Comments for chapter "Chapter 249"
Is it me only or goldhueenway looks kinda cute?
LMAO big boss giving MC a painless death is something else…heck it could be a 1 hit KO skill
did the snake girl talk about being set as a fixed load of information (code) ?? it seems as if the colossis where poeple who had their brain cloned into a computer or something, or maybe their full data. And as usual Vash seems so out of the norm even compared to the others
Unexpected behaviour from rabbit boss
This is probably a little payback for bringing Snake Girl to his kids as well lol
huh?
(lately i have been reading other mangas and honestly it is quite surprising that this had been a weekly manga for so long til they had to take their needed and deserved break, most of the other mangas i’ve been reading have been montly, on the other hand why did chapter 248 release like weeks maybe 1 month and a bit and then hours later when i went check for comments it was gone, i just wish we had some communication)
Yo Dayo, they have that in ” the strongest florist”, basically the players are a species called immortals, and NPCs know that they can just respawn if they die.
This just gets even better, I can’t remember any mmorpg based manga that allows the NPC to utilize the players death concept
It’s pretty cool that the devs made the players respawning as part of in-game lore.
this guy show up thats what he did. he is coolest rabbit i have seen the goat and his skill name is ease pain oh freak yeah
This is a odd conversation. Now we know the Snake is not a clone and Vash (aka The Boss) knows about the players which we already knew. But more importantly, neither of them need to obey the script of the game. It seems like they are only doing it for “show.” Furthermore, the Boss seems to have unlocked more restriction compared to the Snake, hence She is a being who is aware but doesn’t have Free Will like the Boss. I suspect the “him” that she is talking about is what allowed the Boss to overcome the restriction of the system and to “perceive” the nature of the player and even the restrictions placed on the world he lives in.
It is unclear what his goal is at this time. It doesn’t feel like the Boss actually care about his children and the rabbit. It feels like ulterior motive. The conversation he had with the Dragon prior to the current arc suggests that even the Dragon doesn’t understand what the players are because he said more of them came instead of they keep coming back. Neither the Dragon nor the Snake understand what the players are.
The biggest reveal is that I think death in these games have some cost to the players. But, I think by killing the players, the Unique can gain something or even the other NPC as well as long as they can die, thus excludes The Octopus from this evolution path.
I am honestly curious about this “him.” Could this be a player that is stuck in the game and thus allow Vash to gain this “experience” over and over by repeatedly killing this player. And what if there is a limit and he needs to kill strong players to kill to get even stronger in the sense of revealing more truth about the game world that he lives in, in order to say, block off the players from entering, or something else. Don’t know.
Thanks for reading another entry in The Annales of WuLiWenPin Publishers. We write nonsense-scholarship. Analyzing manga would be consider part of what we do. However, we primarily write real world stuff based on real science, real/fake histories, and literature. It’s fiction based on non-fictions. Is it still fiction? You bet cya (Tina Fey Wink-Wink)!
pretty interesting of vash talking to sunraku like he knows he’s a player. I want to see if it’s part of the game lore or he knows what’s up
Since i cant edit a post: I wonder hot the stomach of the developer will be when she find sunraku have a close call with another of her dear colossi

So folks seem to be really hung up on the idea that Vash “knows Sunraku is a player,” but we already knew that several NPCs understand the difference between themselves and the “pioneers.”
I think the surprising bit here is that Vash was aware that death and respawn is a tactic used to heal up/regen which suggests he has a deeper understanding of the origins of these pioneers. Recall that Wethermon and Setsuna called the players something like children of the second plan and Setsuna even had nicknames for Lycagon and Emul’s parents.
