My man is having an “OOKUKUKUKU” moment.
One reason i actually like this is that it doesnt always gloss over the whole harem idea for the girl.
The elf goes through some drama and its not all just comedic relief.
I liked Mushoku Tensei for this same reason. The story atleast tries to deal with the hurdle of polyamory relationship.
Of course plenty of excuses and plot devices are made but most series ONLY use excuses and contrived plot devices. This series and especially Mushoku Tensei put the idea and its circumstances into the plot itself, not just circumvented or glossed over entirely
