Why does he keep insisting spears are bad for tight spaces? They’re a thrusting weapon with reach, which makes them pretty ideal when dealing with enemies that don’t have room to maneuver, and if you can put one of those stalagmites between you and the enemy and poke around it with your spear, you have a pretty good position. You don’t wave it around like a glaive, so I legitimately don’t see what the problem is. The writer clearly didn’t do their homework.
