Reminds me of the Eternally Regressing Knight. That one is a bit cooler both in art and story, but honestly eternal regression until victory is way too imbalanced, because in theory no one can defeat you. Also the price of the regression is not as apparent there, so the MC seemingly doesn’t have to care as much. So the one thing I appreciate here is that the hero can’t just brute force encounters but he can actually get stronger more effectively, so it feels more like an RPG game. He also isn’t locked into one scenario and time limit, but can improvise more so creativity also has a bigger role in winning.
