I swear this series will only be fully enjoyable to read when it’s actually finished. Reading weekly for most manhwas is fine but this one is especially hell. I re-read it a few months ago which I never do and I already forgot the entire story, maybe I just have ass memory though. 😭✌️
Yep, the story was clearly not planned out from beginning to end and instead writes itself as it goes and it feels like it. The plot meanders all over the place and sometimes spends way too much time in one setting just to restart again. It’s more like the author thought “hey thats a cool idea”, like all the mech and pilot related stuff, and just threw it in there. People defend this manga like its a 4.5/5 and its just not that, it was most interesting in its early chapters when there was more mystery and just following skele around while he tried to change the events to come. Remember when skele split the god dam sea using the power of his inventory on a scale never before seen… and he just never uses it like that again.
Its not that the story is hard to follow as people will somehow infer.. its just poorly written and executed, it has the most random plot elements injected into it from other genres, the action scenes devolve into mediocrity and colorful explosions conveniently filling the page and covering character models so the author dosent have to figure out how to set a scene, the main character constantly repeats the same mistakes with the same mindset (and not in the fun time loopey way) despite having learned his lesson. The leveling system, absorption of skills, using newly acquired skills becomes irrevelant/forgotten as skele spams Fire/Ice/Lightning till everything dies.
I really liked this manhwa still do but I can’t dare to continue after reading 200 plus Chapter at first it was fun seeing skelly become stronger and learning after each death but after a while it got worse not only he lost his hard earned strength but also his only comrades i just can’t see him die and loss his loved ones anymore so I stopped reading it is really good only if you can see him dying and losing everything again and again
So many people burn out on mid stuff, complaining about random stuff thats not even in this. Unlike the backwards pacing and broken timeline of tutorial is to hard, this is more of a slow burn, the MC is not perfect or that over powered, he constantly hits walls, but is hard headed and slowly grows. Burn out is real, many people want simple action or more rare high level stuff thats rare in comics, but they keep trying to read stuff thats not for them. For me this is far better than stuff like solo leveling which is the top of simple action OP MC stuff, but not as deep or impactful as Northern blade, its still good.
For me this is on the same level of Beginning after the end. Flawed but consistent. The resets and new “timelines” are not a bother but a new wall the MC has to face.
I’ve read up to chapter 365 and honestly… I don’t even know what the hell is going on anymore…. It has become something like random stuff while author improvise without any kind of idea or minimal consistency and coehsion through all the amount of random worlds that are presented.
It started truly great with the restarts through different points with the usual suspects , secondary characters taking different roles and directions that felt engaging, interesting ,mysterious enough keeping you reading more and more.
However, the fillers arcs like the robots town so to speak , the mecha arc too, were just to waste time and nonsense…
It’s like a “Frankeinstein” story at some point of adding random things because…”potato” and not giving it any consistency nor cohesion at all.
I just would have loved to keep the core dymic on going that made the story great when it started. I have no clue why author felt like improvising with most random things without actual plost nor story for the sake of story’s length…
Despite of trying it thrice …., at different times in my life, I dropped it finally.I loved the concept initially with greatest potential…but things went down down hill way too much, beyond reasons.
Honestly, this series feels like you’re playing an extraction shooter; where at any moment if you invest too much you may lose everything. The MC has lost pretty much everything on multiple occasions. He’s lost items, powers, memories, his santiy, his relationships, even the very existsence of some of his friends.
If you can’t sit through the MC making bad, often head banging decisions, I can completely understand if you drop it.
dropped at Chapter 200 with the mc losing all his powers to the admins will most likely keep happening because there is no way to stop the power wipes every chapter after 200 is invalidated no power gathering matters in the face of admins I have not been proven wrong yet because they have not explained why the mc isn’t going to lose all his powers again, other then dying before they can take his powers there is no other defense he has

Stopped reading around 200 chapters because I genuinely forgot about it and now I’m rereading I’m not ready chat I’m remembering the deaths made me Lowkey cry 
How should I describe it…. Kafkaesque? What is it? Why is it? How is it? How it should be? Why it should be? Why shall I be? How shall I be? Why I should be? Shouldn’t I? Which is which? Whichever path I came from, it is already existing and continuing without exception.
