It makes sense that Malphas would have a weakness for treasure given corvids obsession with shiny trinkets, seems like Skelly will have a relatively easy time serving him via offerings and the expansion of his influence through Malphas’s favored tools, lies and deception. Given Skelly’s current predicament, I suppose a partial pardon is the most Malphas could do, certainly makes it that much more interesting to see what may happen from here on out.
