Alright, I’m really starting to like Braun as a character. The man is basically a libertarian on steroids, to the point where he’s completely deluded in his own worldview. He cannot accept that his ideology may have failures or oversights, that maybe absolute freedom for everyone isn’t really feasible or the best idea for a country. I’ve seen some people compare it to America, but not even America takes freedom to this level.

Being optimistic and seeing the potential good in everyone is good but at some point too much optimism should be regarded as delusion. Everyone in ember is just delusional due to the false sense of peace their lerium addled minds cant seem to accept.
Human nature is always disappointing to witness 
ugh this is why I dislike these webcomic style manhwas. The length is there but it feels like over the course of 20 “pages” that 3 things happened. You ever feel like you watch an episode of something and then afterwards youre like, “wow that was a whole episode?..” because a whole lot of nothing happened.
Skelly spitting truth to the Mayor, but I can respect him for believing in his people and town.

7th wall broken
MC has seen many different ways things are done, and encountered many different people and situations.
I am starting to suspect that MC is some sort of AI, and that this is a simulation to train him for various situations in the future. The resurrection aspect is to not only a means to test MC to see how he handles new information but to get MC used to possessing drones.

Braun is an absolute fool. Much like Leandro, he is set in his ways to a fault. Braun would prefer to give everyone the choice, and if that means they can’t all agree and it will lead to their demise, the would be OK with that and simply allow it to happen. It’s not out of malice, just a complete fool.
