This series is so damn long and confusing. I love it. You just never know when the end is. I just hope there is an end goal. Even after waking up from being a guest, there has to be an ending.
btw to anyone who is like “doesnt make sense to have 9999 tons of lurum in Ember, and treat it like coca cola”, here is my head-canon to cope:
This dream liquid consumes like 0.01 grams of Lurum, and neeeds processing alongside some other liquids. So that dream liquid isn’t lurum, hence skeleton doesnt drink it all to powerup to the point of ending the manga in 10 chapters.
Again, head-canon but it works to solve this huge plot hole.

So Braum was just some naive dumbass this whole time thinkinG that a bunch of crackheads would actually go and defend the city. LMAO
I’m dropping this. Story has been meh for too long and all characters keep making stupid decisions and saying stupid things. Story is going from one random encounter to the next with too little cohesion or thought behind it. Mc should have taken all the lulium of the city to become stronger and fight the empire by himself. The mayor is supposedly the smartest person there is but is dumb as a bag of rocks. Story does not seem to go in any specific direction, especially after that weird reset where everything was completely thrown out of the window. After each fight mc randomly gets a huge amount of skills and evolves yet we don’t ever really see that coming back except for a slightly more bright appearing sword. Best character was Isaac as he at least slowly revealed the secrets of the world and set the mc on a path to complete some kind of goal.
Continently placed book explaining all the evil guys plans.

I mean you can fix ember right now possibly by absorbing the goo and by the next reincarnation the citizens wont be dependent on the stuff possibly since it wont be there depending if they have their own way to get more, who knows tho

If he absorbs the lumium it will disappear permanently if I’m not mistaken 
last time he absorbed lumium from the royal palace when the heroes were kept it was lace and skelly, the gang died and Isaac permanently got deleted.
