The main issue I see with focusing on training instead of saving everyone…is that if the reset point were to change at any point in the story, whoever he sacrificed might just stay dead for real. 
and we still don’t know what that means. all we do know is when it got to 50% something else took over his body
its probably hard to make chapters of this manga like I mean to keep it going because all the MC does is die and repeat what he did in his last life without making the same mistake
