If I have any criticism against this whole arc is that he gets more powerful in an absurd way. Even the reincarnation is absurd, but absorbing essences and seeing the strongest enemies dyeing coincidentally is just way too boring way to progress. It’s like tripping and becoming a demigod. But I guess the opponents are so strong that this is the only way to bridge that gap fast enough.

What I don’t get is why the dog is dead. Before, he went around all over the place with Rena for probably well over a week, maybe weeks before she went off to become a branch manager, and he went on his solo quest where he met that wolf cub. I doubt it took him that long to RUN there and arrive to find the dog as a skeleton. The timeframe doesn’t seem right.

Is this guy an actual idiot, did he just leave the essence of one of the strongest people on the battlefield? Like bro, you didn’t absorb it all the last time, he should now know skills level up, and you have to go back anyways to save necro girl, why do you care? Furthermore he probably could have gotten the enlightenment skill from the paladin and more skills from the nun before melting 
. She had an OP inheritance if that is absorbable.
I have a small theory. Now I don’t necessarily believe this theory but it’s a possibility. Assimilation rate might be the rate at which he’s tethered to his body. He might end up being some kind of omnipresent omnipotence when it reaches 0%. He may just lose his mind and no longer be one with this game system and be able to use and feel skills freely. Or he’ll just become human and lose his game-like system all together.
Uhhh. I don’t like This. In my opinion mc shouldve only gained enlightenment in the far future when he stopped being a Slave. I mean he’s still a slave to mistress succubus and treats her as a goddess or something when she just treated him nicely. He needs to break loose, I think that’s what the whole assimilation is
