I swear, every series that allegedly focuses on alchemy devolves to “generic wizard” these days. He’s used magic, not potions to cure every injury in the last dozen or so chapters; he’s doing blacksmithing rather than transmutation; and overall just a wizard who makes a few daily life magic items.
