I’d like to see a story that follows this kind of plot at the beginning, but which then allows the side characters to have enough “Character” to get over themselves and grow as people, instead of being used as cheap story devices to create shallow and uninteresting, cliche bad guys (which then get unceremoniously destroyed because they are worthless trash.)
