Oh Boo hooo… He was a murdering nut job who willingly accepted the power from the demon and thought nothing of murdering everyone in the city for revenge. As for Sieg, thought nothing of throwing the female bandit leader on the guillotine to make her pay for her crimes, but he wants to have a ‘deep and meaningful’ chat with this git get him to see the ‘error of his ways’ ? After what he’d done he was for the chop whatever happened.

Don’t forget that in his craze for power he killed a bunch of innocent people, he wasn’t redeemed for shit. That douchebag can rest in pieces.

A “Redemption Scene” when it’s too late is no longer particularly palatable for me. It’s become too much of an overdone trope.
It leaves me feeling like this entire scene didn’t really matter. Like…

At least he had his last moments of redemption. I liked this chapter. And I feel sorry for Irene, I don’t know if it’s just me or I think she had strong feelings towards Nacht… This is sad

Nacht was already dead. His demonization was like a soul that couldn’t pass on.
Also Sieg clearly didn’t explain his abilities to his allies, so that’s completely on him.
Nacht had some very valid points.
Frankly I don’t think Sieg is human anymore either. He has one-punch man durability.
If he got that strong in the same time as the others, then they should have equally become as strong in what they focused on. Honestly, you can’t say all these other soldiers didn’t train as hard as him so it can’t be training that made him strong. He must be something other than human.

He just redemption; a whole city. This wasn’t a redemption; it was a catharsis.

I like this one.
This is probably the one of best “Bad leader kicks out MC” redemption arcs so far.

Only when you confront the darkness in yourself that you may move forward, unfortunately the character Nacht had already been consume by darkness & taken the dark road, crossing the boundary from being a human.
He should have met with the Master of masters, that would have been hilarious.

finally, they open up with each other, alas it’s too late.
