legit space travel, usually means any planet has solved energy.
if you have legitly solved energy. your peoples dont work cus
everything is near-infinite-energy food and production.
so why bother? you send out drones they bring back rare crap. profit.
its star trek. once the energy-mass equation is revealed theres no point.
a near-infinite-energy device and replicator means you can replicate your own
space ship. and that energy device makes your food
so now you can fly and leave the planet and explore on your own.
means most peolple who want to leave their planet, can.
and it means that species ends in that same era.
because after that, everyone is a clone of themselves.
see? cus you all didnt think to propagate the species.
everyone left. and that was it.
