I KNEW it. I called this out MONTHS ago.
Woah. This is so much more intense when you know what’s been revealed in recent chapters… I’m also just now really noticing those lines on either side of Donovan’s head, I’m no expert but there’s one that’s crossed with other lines that kinda reminds me of stitches? Kinda like brain surgery… and with the new chapters in mind, I can see why he considered this dinner worthwhile. If I knew a way to spoiler line something, I would absolutely do it to comment in more detail here, but alas. I just… love that this chapter exists. There’s so much here that has the potential to become so much more important as the manga goes on.

This is so depressing. thank god my parents encouraged us to share how our day went, and so do they. i lost my brother 2 years ago, and I always hold dear the times my family dined, shared stories, and laughed together.
I have a theory:
