I actually love this kind of MC. He is more of an anti-hero, and that is refreshingly different in modern manhwa. I have personally grown tired of the kind but cluelessly dense MC, or the timid but powerful MC who only fights to “protect their friends.” I actually enjoy a pragmatic hero, who believes in the neutrality of the world. Nothing in life comes for free, and sometimes you have to do the wrong things for the right reasons.

Here in my country, when you fight 3 or more thugs, you are “Legally” allowed to use deadly force and cause permanent body damage under the “Self Defense” clause(Broken jaw, missing teeth, crushed eyes and troth, etc.).Because by law, if 3 people jump you, you are fighting for your life.
