When this gets animated, I have a feeling this duel will likely be somewhere in the early part of Season 2. Season 1 should be composed of at least 24-26 episodes and should end with the defeat of the Lindwyrm and Vlad’s ascension to knighthood. Thus, this will be the first major story arc of the second season. Just a theory.
