I hated this plot development even back in the novels. Actually the plot just keeps getting worse from here on out imo.
I like how he already expected this and make the necessary preparations. He is playing chess where he already knew the next move of his opponent
can someone explain what happened when they first entered cause it looked really bad 
wish they could milk the scenes more, it had so much weight and potential, but it ended so quickly. Can’t believe I am cheering for a slight mellow story telling here…
