mc spilled his balls all over the place
If I was one of the investigators of this incident, wouldn’t the mc be the primary target to blame?
He threw out random balls seconds before the thing attacked, which could have caused people to slip and fall. He made plans to go there, and he refused to answer his phone regarding the situation.
The last villain was one of the most boring arcs I’ve read in a while. Villain was a one-dimensional high school bully who’s just mean for the sake of being mean.
The whole narrative seems to be “ranks aren’t everything! All are equal combatants!” It’s what the captain says, the characters say “A LOW F RANKER DEFEATED A C RANKER! NO H*CKING WAY!!!!!” But that’s not the narrative you even see. The mc himself admits he has little confidence of beating that guy without advancing his own abilities which he barely managed a couple days ago, even with decades of combat experience and currently being a D rank. Even then, his literal rank is growing with his metal absorbing so he’s not an F rank. The F ranks are genuinely not the equal of upper ranks without a growth method.
Honestly I hope this novel picks up, had a great start but the last few chapters have been pretty lacking.

MC is risking alot to try and lock down threats as early as possible, good show.
I hate Mc that let problamatic character live like really what turning them into the police going do!? Ablouse nothing just cripple them or something damn because anytime a Mc do this they come back stronger or more annoying. Example: (spoiler)villian to kill cassadian the mc didn’t kill the annoying grasshopper guy and what do u expect he came back more annoying abd a waste of panel
