It seems the Author forgot that the Carpenter actually received 50 gold nyangs for the Iron Piercing job which the MC did alone.
Which essentially means that the Carpenter received that cash for FREE.

Carpenter should have insisted that MC should rightfully not pay.
But I guess the Author is really trying to push the agenda that ‘MC is a good guy, and has business sense of an idiot”

If they didn’t look so different, I’d start to suspect that this fellow and our MC’s youngest “brother” -the one who told him to go be an innkeeper here- were related.
But they look too different.
Still, I’m getting a definite “brother” vibe off this guy!
