A brief description of the manhwa Storm Inn:

The Crimson Demon of the Battlefield, Jang Kirin. He spent his days in blood splattering war in the North for the last 13 years. “Live a normal life.” Those were the last words the general left me.

The war lasted a long time until it ended. The storyline was good. The ending was very, very impressive. I absolutely loved it. This is one of my top-rated manhwa so far. 9/10.

This one is pretty good. The MC starts out super dumb, which is annoying, and I thought he’d stay dumb after he was taught to take “righteous path” like 1/4 of the way through, but he still handled business, and it was a very happy ending

Dropped at 122… This was so good before the time skip. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a reasonable story after that.

Plot was good at the start…
Then author decided to go the generic route of forcing MC to suddenly have feelings for the girl.
‘Love interest’ ruined a lot of it…

I give it a solid 3.5/5…. I dropped it when an old man suddenly ‘spawned’ out of nowhere because of MC’s Murderous Aura.

Man. It wa such a good manhwa. Well, it still is but I just can’t understand why that old decrepit of a man has to stop him. Like does he know him?? Have they ever met?? He just went and said “oH yOu HaVe A stRoNg MurDeroUs aUra. sTop!” It was such a nonsense scenario. Welp, that was it for me. 100+ chapters.

the MC adamantly refuses to fight. i’m at chap 31 and the MC was only in 2 short fights, and only in 1 he actually does something.
moreover he has a no-kill policy, even if the waifu he consider “family” is kidnapped and hit on the face.

Is there a reason to even keep reading?
this SEEMS a murim manwha but the MC has no goal whatsoever and while art and translations are very good; the shallowness and boringness of the plot coupled with the nonsensical behaviours, naiveness and annoying principles of the MC, causes the rating to be 4.4 instead of a SOLID 4.8

What a blunder… imagine volcanic age with this kind of art here, it would be another world.

This is underrated for a reason. Murim without fights have no reason to exist. This is not even the stereotypical MC bs “i have OP powers but i only use them in secret”, but it’s just “i’m not going to fight you even if you rape my woman because of some abstract principles”.
I dare any seinen (not even shounen!) reader to enjoy this garbage plot.
