The ocean is FULL of sea going versions of every kind of bug you can find on land (archetypes, i.e Spiders, Scorpions, and a bevey of the 6 legged types.) Plus sea snakes, etc, so, it’s just a less-wet version of what you find out on the blue seas, lol

Weird that they’re using this magical NDA for this, and simply trusted them to keep quiet about him being the Mage and being able to summon boat and ships. for a coward and a slaver you’d think he’d put his own safety firstrather than depending on them to keep their word.
Also, thinking on it, weird he even cares about helping the dark elves in the first place given he has one as a slave himself

Plus, if it’s dark elves we’re talking about, there’s always the high chance of seeing spiders or some spider like monsters.
Also, “wicked” woods implies dark elements, which implies rot and poison zones, which implies creatures with those properties, and brings to mind scorpions, centipedes, leeches, mosquitoes, stink bugs, ticks, pill bugs, earwigs, flies, and earthworms. There are probably more, but ya’ll got the general idea. There are loads of bug type monsters that could easily thrive in such an environment.
I also didn’t mention creatures such as demon or zombie family monster because…well, come on, a zone with high dark element connection? They’re basically implied at that point.
Getting DARK elves into a human suprem Kingdom doesnt seem smart.
