I like that penalty. Sure you have all of these coins but you can’t leave the tower. Now there is a village or something like that on the 6th floor. So it’s not like he’ll go crazy from no contact, have read that can happen. So accept that you’re stuck and take your time beating the tower. I’m pretty sure there are a lot of times it’ll hurt!!
