Since MC reached the 30th floor, the big baddies from the beginning had to be replaced with bigger badier baddies.
Anyhow the whole seal thing was so that the 30th floor baddies couldn’t talk much about the stuff the author didn’t want to make up yet. Old lazy writer strategy:
I know things, but I’m not telling because of [insert BS reason here]
I swear there are good reasons for what I’m doing.
That translates in my head to: (voice of the author)
Ah, fork. I need a motivation for character X doing something, but I can’t think of any. And honestly I can’t be bothered right now. … I know! I put a block on it so that they can’t talk about it. When I have a good idea I conveniently will lift it.
