Kinda sus but 
One thing I learn playing game that has DnD-ish element.. never touch a golden item/idol/statue that are on their own like that or place higher that other treasure with light shining upon them… Those thing are 99% of the time, cursed.

Frogged statue for the bag, also why did he conclude it was a treasure goblin? Like there was nothing telling him it was that, plus for all he knows they don’t even exist since the guild lies so much.

since no one probably has ever cleared the last floor, and the condition to leave the tower and back to the original world is to either clear the last floor or run out of coins. What if by clearing the tower, and you have remainder coins, you get that many revives while back in your original world. No one on earth has ever left the tower with coins remaining. and the only other way to leave is to clear it.
I was thinking of a gold coin or something like that but he did something unexpected
