Forgot to say this earlier, but isn’t willpower a stat that can still be trained? He got onto Shuran earlier 17 years ago for having a weak mental and even weak mental potential but she still maxed that stat out, and his willpower is at 110/100. They seem to be giving special attention to that stat as it allows one to surpass what their stats say they are capable of doing, but he also refuses to train the rich person’s son basically out of spite and his low willpower. Hope they do something about surpassing potential later in the story, would be interesting especially how he got 110 will and immortality from fighting in the last dungeon for a week straight
