Can someone that read the novel spoiled me about this flash? The only hint we got iirc was a scene of Garhan sitting on the side of a bed and a woman grabbing her neck from behind telling him to give something back and then Zenovia telling Garham that he’s the worst human he got to know for what he did regarding “Daisy”. Thanks in advance.
why the hate? an epic backstory is an entrance to a greater storyline, that is basic on epic level animes too yall

She gave crown prince their location while Garhan was away soo prince kills *Daisy* and cripple prince is my guess
Do lemme get this straight: this man disses everyone else because they’re not utilitarian extremists, then finda live and puts his utilitarianism on hold until tragedy occurs (we all probably knows what occurs) and becomes even more psycho
And I’m supposed to feel empathy for him? How?
It’s so funny seeing people explaining basic things like it makes them seem smarter or superior or smth. Whatever gets you off, I guess.
For the people on the other side of the conflict, please give them some space/time. Something basic and we’ve gotten through context clues a couple of chapters in need to be explained to them. They see the sky is blue but someone needs to explain to them that it is blue. That’s plot for them so let them hear the explanation. We don’t need to be so judgemental of them.

On one hand I can’t really blame the author for wanting to flesh out the main antagonists of the series… but on the other, I also can’t help but feel all this is really unnecessary. In other words: I’m pretty torn.

How is there a discussion about people that are mad that we’re getting more plot. Plot for the main villain of the series?? Nobody complained when we got Leon lore, or Kivy lore.
Fights are literally meaningless without strong emotions to drive the plot. Why was Atisse coming back and fighting Zenovia so hype? Because of the plot setup with him going away, coming back stronger, why he had been gone for centuries, the humans that had died in the dragon area, Zenovia becoming an agent of Omphlaus, yada yada.
Basically, if you’ve read this far and still complain about plot, cmon man, you’re an idiot 
We all know that after this flashback is done we’re likely getting an Omphlaus fight that lasts 5-10 chapters and probably kills off several characters. You know why we’ll care if Ephyr dies? We already got tricked into thinking Kivy died once. It’s because PLOT and WRITING.
Anyways in this essay I will-
Zenobia is a villain you can’t wait to see her painful death.
Idk what’s gonna be in the next chapter, but I don’t think I’ll like it.
