Survival Supremacy - Chapter 5
Comments for chapter "Chapter 5"
I could do with some more mental awareness from the girl that just got stabbed and the fatty that likely beats his wife and children.
I hoped MC would be a little more brainy, but it seems the author is determined to have him strongman his way through every ordeal.
Do you really think everyone in this world walks around with an identification? I’m sure there’s a seperate protocol for travelers without a certificate. Things can get lost after all and in a world that moves at the pace of carriage, people don’t return to their hometown to issue a new identification before restarting the journey all over again.
it may be just the translation but im already taking issue with some of the content, which so far, i mostly like and like other commenter mention, it is refreshing.
the writer is creating the notion that skills and ‘traits’ can be obtain by consuming them.
this is an interesting notion, by game-theory, because the reader may be left to wonder ‘what else’ ?
the orcs oddly were offering the orge heart as an ‘awakened trait’. but this is a ‘consumable’. no trial was offered as a test, like for Sung Jin Woo. you just eat the orge heart and if you survive, you get, ostensibly, ogre-like abilities.
SO THEN, curiously, why did the orc cheiftan simply not distribute the ogre heart to his tribe???
since all you have to do is eat it?
i am confident the writer will slowly reveal the rules of this karman mana world.
but introducing skill-as-obtained from consumables is kinda…
and MC is the only one to see and access what i am calling this ‘mana oracle’ on his phone?
shall we recap?
- Bus-kun has transported humans to a world with magic
- Humans can eat monster parts to get skills
- The training and skills sytem will be slowly revealed by a telepathic world ‘system’
- MC’s main group is filled with all the tropes from every manga, ever.
some oddities:
- Bus driver was impaled by a large tree trunk but the overhead image of the bus shows it was in the middle of a clearing with no tree trunk protruding…
- Every character is being written as oddly accepting of seeing flying human-headed bugs attacking whilst simultaneously ‘freaking-out’ but in a controlled manner. normally, anyone would run off screaming, into the forest, wildly. presumably the writer thinks everyone in the world is just cohesive in their ability to calmly process calamity, like train to busan.
not to simplify writer’s work, but its solo leveling meets hiding out in the apocalypse.
the MC will slowly gain skills and maybe teach others. build his team whilst also learning about his ‘unlimited’ growth as a mana user…
it is good.
il give it 3 more chapter
i come here for cover for sure but man, its good
Yes a refreshing isekia manwha we been getting straight garbage
I’m hooked

is this priest possibly a freak?
gets held at knife point and isn’t calm, isn’t worried, doesn’t cry or beg just blushes and grins with this odd smile like it’s fun…
guess monastery days are just that boring.
