soldier dude is definitely the big shot they released, bet he was fighting the commander and thats why he had to be quick.
This is basically a Flashpoint level restructuring of every organization and person in power. I bet the next roundtable is going to be missing some people. Many characters he once knew are probably dead now too.

Damn the last 2 chapters were fire.. As the MC is still only a medium level (or slightly above average level) explorer, he would’ve only been fodder in the frontline. How many stories would’ve made the MC join the subjugation force and made them op? A lot. So this is a far more preferable storytelling.
