Honestly, writing here is so damn good, so is the translation. Plot isn’t some repetitive trope used in the genre, nor it tries to subvert expectations just for the sake of it.
MC contemplating about his ethical and moral corruption in the name of survival & where exactly the balance lies before it already in evil territory adds an extra depth to MS’s personality.
Also, that player character who got killed crying “Mom..” at the last moment adds a heavy somber tone & had me in the feelings.
This whole chapter is close to peak writing.
