I think mana and fire and heat are something else
hes probably not completely resistant to hot enough stuff even after the phoenix heart, cus when he had his hand in the candle flame back in storm castle, he said it was like warm water. so he does feel heat, meaning he can be hurt by high enough heat.
I hate these kind of tests in a story… its so risky. 5000 years of waiting for the right person. And they have to overcome an obstacle that is beyond their means. So you kinda have to be destined to overcome it to justify the intricacies. But if you are destined, the test loses all its value.
